Compulsive lying, and resolutions!

Link perhaps? We just got over the most lying conniving bastardly months of the year. January. Everybody I know lied to me, wrote speeches about it and flooded my news feed with all sorts of promises which they've broken already. It's no wonder that I hate new years day. First of all, it's considered a crime not to be doing something on that particular day. People ask me as early as October what my plans for New Years is. I mean come on! How can one expect me to plan so much ahead? I'm no Obama. Second of all, if for some odd reason you concede to celebrating the day, you have to hear people lie. Resolution upon resolution, each more ridiculous than the last. Rishabh as usual told me that he was going to join gym again, I promised myself I would read a new book, another told me she would quit smoking.

It's February now, we've all washed our hands, and our promises went down the drain. So what is it about this season that makes us compulsively lie so much? Why not come up with a new better tradition, like giving our time to the less fortunate? Ah! Enlightenment.

Although this all sounds good on my blog, I know for a fact that in 10 months I'm going to be doing the same thing again and so are you. But remember one thing. Santa is too busy to keep an eye on you in December, and is too old to remember what you did pre-November, so it's ok.

No offense.

It seems blogging is compulsory at work now! Finally my blog has found some purpose :) I mean before it was just time pass. But now I HAVE to do this. It's not a part of my job as such but it helps build creativity I suppose. So since I've last posted a lot has happened to this thinker. He quit his old job suddenly, out of the blue. And then he decided he'd get into copywriting! Something that I thought would be more fun! Luckily that turned out to be correct :p And I must say I'm pretty satisfied with the work that I'm putting up! Although I can't show you right now... because we follow a strict code of secrecy here for a while.... After a certain cooling off period you can tell the world.

My Girlfriend is galavandering(gallivanting) in the US so I now have nothing to do, That's why I'm writing this post.  :( The proof of this is that I have an imaginary pet Yeti on twitter. His name is Rogan. Honestly I think Twitter sucks. I see no point. Although at times I thought it was fun.

But the new experience has been fun! And new ones are presenting themselves! I once had a dream of owning a bike park in the city! We so desperately need some other forms of entertainment. There are a few other interesting business ideas brewing in my mind... Shall let you in once I start because putting it up on the internet is just stupid!

Since I started writing this post 2 months ago, my girlfriend came back. I've settled in my new job and turns out writing a blog isn't as compulsory as I though it would be.

A moosh, an owl and some puke

Ok I admit it I lied… But it is difficult to keep up with promises made at the spur of the moment. One fine example of quite the opposite is the "Movember" movement. The story of a man who made millions of dollars convincing men to bring back the Moustache! Wonderful to see that all that money goes to charity! Somehow me writing in my blog just seems so much easier! I am now driven! I hereby promise to make a post every week! I get carried away a lot as you may all have noticed. But no more! Not surprisingly Paul was mighty impressed with my rescue mission, so I think he told his friends about it! His friend Jesu just came crashing out of the sky. A common barn owl, Jesu couldnt make it back up there. I was pleasantly surprised when the BBMP came to Jesu's rescue! (YES BBMP) For all my foreign friends the BBMP is a government body who usually don't do much but I must say the forest department is doing a fine job. Super fine indeed. Speaking of owl that brings me to another thought. Just how amazing the USA is. It's no wonder they are right at the top. They know how to make businesses run. Even if their business is selling owl vomit. http://www.bookadda.com/books/owl-puke-book-owl-pellet-jane-hammerslough-0761131868-9780761131861 And it is a fantastic product don't get me wrong! I am a customer myself! It's very educational and gets kids buzzing in their seats waiting to rip some puke apart(the inner me too). After many days of putrid dissection I now have 4 skeletons in my closet. I wish to do something creative with them! Maybe construct my very own mini museum in a box! If it looks half as cools as that dino model up there I'll be sated. I must leave now unfortunately.......... Someone is coming!

I hereby promise to post once in a week at least!

Something really cool happened today! Someone was routed to my little blog from Korea! I'm not all that sure how that happened but the site which brought the traffic was a pretty neat one! I don't know how my site figured in all this but I shall return the favour hopefully! :p http://kallery.net/ I don't really promote my blog I realized because I think people will find it weird. Not if they didn't know me but! I wonder how that works? I started another blog a few years ago! Metallicroc it was called! I think I shall revive that! I need a time table now since I've joined CAT Classes, I have Rotaract to manage, I have work, I need to exercise and I need to spend time with my friends! I also need to brainstorm about how I'm going to make those millions of bucks so I can own my castle Ref: Last post. It has to be linked to the internet that seems obvious! Everything is online! I myself spend a lot of time money and energy(not so much energy) online. I like Etsy's concept on how they have created their website. It's so nice and mellow the whole thing. Something like that would be nice. So while I try out various opportunities please bear with me. I will of course keep you my readers informed of my doing abouts so lets all pray that I figure out which one will click. I've decided to make to spruce up my blog with pictures eveytime so look forward to that!

For today but I have no relevant pictures so I shall settle with a picture of Paul, A Kite that my friend and I rescued after it literally fell out of the sky!

My dreams of Lordship

Have you ever wondered why you have never been able to join the gym? Or ever been able to write that book you've always dreamt of penning?  It just so happens that I have had the exact same dream. But I am not going to publish it to the world just yet. Let me publish it first so that nobody can steal my idea. I'm sure there are already tons of people who want to steal from the beautiful mind that I have. I wonder if my blog will one day spark a high traffic debate and I get a million bucks from ad sales! That would be awesome! I can picture it now if i squint my eyes -__- ! I'm planning on buying a castle... But I'll need a few more million bucks for that! And if I'm gonna drop a few million pounds it better well look like a castle otherwise what is the point?! I say pounds because all the awesome castles are in Europe. France also has a healthy number of castles which surprised me! Feudalism was one of the only chapters in History that I liked. Although nobody reads my blog just yet I'd love for you to give me your feed back on which castle I should buy. Don't worry! Take your time! I've got plenty of time myself! My ideal castle would look something like this: http://www.medievalists.net/2009/04/24/castle-for-sale-guide-to-buying-a-castle/ . The first few I wouldnt mind buying. Please do advise. I'm sure it is understandable then that I also love dragons.

This is as close as I got to owning a real dragon! It's made out of wood and I'm painting it for that "real" effect. Ever since the 4th book in Harry Potter where Ron gets a mini Krum and a the mini Hungarian Horntail out of a bag, I've always wanted to own one. The Dragon ... not Krum. But the idea of miniature things has always facinated me. I in fact practically stole my friends miniature sword that she got from Japan. I say Practically because she actually traded it for something that I stole from somebody else who deserved it. But It's really cool! It's a metalic blunt sword with a metallic sheath with a red dragon on it! It is really cool trust me... I'd attach a picture but I'm at work, and I want to post this now... So I won't attach it. But I attached something else already so it's ok. My girlfriend is already a Lady at Dunans castle. She got that awesome Laird or Lady giftbox! I'm so jealous!

Typing without looking is so cool

It took me a while to finally learn how to type without looking! My sister could do it but that never really stirred enough jealousy to drive me to learn myself. At one point of time I just decided that I would refuse to look down at my wretched keys once and for all and I was quite surprised because I actually had a pretty good idea where each key was... maybe we all do but we are just to damn insecure to venture out on our own. It is really frustrating not knowing how to but eventually with shit loads of practice and a billion errors I'm sure I'll get the hang of this. Typing this message up too took forever but compared to what I used to be doing before it's so much cooler! So much suaver \m/ I wrote this whole thing for practice anyway.

Horn Nokay please

The thing about Indian horns are that they have lost their value, it's a lot like the boy who cried wolf story. I have seen, on every voyage of mine, the use of Indian horns. I have tried many a times to try and figure out what is the intent of the horn, for some of the times there is absolutely no one in sight of the raged horner! Yet it would seem that there may be no end to this epidemic of sorts. As if everybody can't see the green light blaring, but still yes I understand that the person behind me is just about to miss a train. That's what he always says, that person behind me even though he changes everyday. This is not a rant believe you me! It is an observation of concern. The ample lack of respect for other's time... I believe that if I left home late, it's not "my right" to make cuts and curves around traffic or jump the next red light. take a wee bit of time to follow the rules and you will be there in the same amount of time, if not less! This pee has got too preachy so I shall leave it at that. Till I drink again!
